Water Restored to Magnolia Road and Linden Road

Following an emergency water pipe repair water service has been restored to Magnolia Road and Linden Road. In an effort to reduce mineral sediment and remove air pockets (fluctuating pressure/milky appearance to water) area hydrant flushing was conducted. Although these efforts will greatly reduce impact it is unlikely all traces of mineral sediment will be removed. Running a cold faucet will help clear mineral sediment and purge air from household plumbing. Residents should avoid washing laundry when water is noticeably discolored.

Is the water safe to drink? Slight discoloration may sometimes linger for a few hours, it is not harmful to your health and only temporarily affects the appearance of the water, it does not influence water quality. Water conditions typically improve overnight.
