Routine maintenance is scheduled for Thursday, January 8th at Pump Station No 8 (East Street). Homes and businesses in close proximity to this area may briefly experience discolored water due to increased flows and larger volumes of water traveling through our pipes causing non-health threatening minerals to lift from the bottom of the mains and flow with the water. In an effort to lessen the impact and reduce the amount of mineral sediment flushing at Pump Station No 8 will occur prior to distribution. Although these efforts will reduce sediment-amount, it is unlikely all traces will be removed. Should you experience discolored water, run a cold faucet to help clear your service line and always avoid washing laundry when water is noticeably discolored.
