Sealed bids for construction of the East Street WTP PFAS Treatment, Contract 1, DWSRF 11383 for the Sudbury Water District, Massachusetts, will be received at the Sudbury Water District Office, 199 Raymond Road, Sudbury MA, 01776 until 11:00 AM prevailing time, on March 12, 2024, at which time and place said bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The scope of work includes construction of an approximately 3,250 square foot metal building southwest of the existing East Street WTP for PFAS treatment. The building will contain two pairs of 10-foot diameter pressure vessels and associated equipment, with each vessel containing 20,000 pounds of granular activated carbon (GAC). Site work will include grading, stormwater management infrastructure construction, and utility installation. Additionally, three raw water well pumps will be replaced. The existing chlorine gas system will be converted to sodium hypochlorite inside the existing chlorine gas room. Sodium hypochlorite and sodium fluoride systems will be installed inside the new PFAS treatment building. Associated bid alternative involves solar panels on the WTP.

An optional Prebid Conference and Site Walk will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 13, 2024, at the East Street Water Treatment Facility, located at the end of East Street, Sudbury, MA.
General Contractors shall file their bids with a copy of the certificate from Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) showing that they are eligible to bid on projects of this category, of this estimated project dollar amount and up to an aggregate limit, and with an Update Statement, DCAM Form CQ3 (Section 00 41 13-Attachment A) and Certificate of Eligibility, DCAM Form CQ7.
Subcontractors shall file with their sub-bids a copy of their DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and Sub-Bidders Update Statement.

LATE BIDS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. The Sudbury Water District reserves the right to reject any and all bids as determined to be in the best interests of the District and to waive minor informalities.
