Water service has been restored/main repaired on Hudson Road.
In an effort to reduce the amount of sediment in your drinking water hydrants in the area of Hudson Road at Maynard Road will be systematically opened to clear minerals and deposits from the pipes. Although these efforts will reduce sediment-amount, it is unlikely all traces will be removed. Homes and businesses in close proximity to Hudson Road should expect some level of impact including fluctuating pressure (air in pipes) or discolored water (mineral sediment lifting from the bottom of the pipes and traveling with the water-flow inside the main.) Running a cold tap briefly will assist in clearing your service line of air and minerals. Avoid washing laundry when water is noticeably discolored.
Conditions are expected to improve overnight.
