The Sudbury Water District is holding its annual elections and meeting on Tuesday, May 16, at the Fairbank Senior Center. Polls open at 3:00 PM and stay open until 7:00 PM. The annual meeting begins at 7:00 PM, and a special meeting to address end-of-the-year matters will commence at 7:15 PM. In the elections, there is one candidate running for each of the one-year-term positions for moderator, treasurer, and clerk; and there are four candidates running for one three-year-term for commissioner. The annual meeting’s articles will address the annual budget, system improvements, upgrading building space, and a petitioned article related to continued addition of fluoride to the water system. Qualified legal voters must be present at the annual meeting in order to vote on the articles.
