The Sudbury Water District will be performing scheduled water utility repair work at 29 Willard Grant Road on Wednesday, June 24, 2026.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Work is scheduled to begin at approximately 8:00 a.m. and will continue throughout the day until all necessary repairs have been completed.

TRAVEL DELAYS / DETOUR ROUTES
The work area will be closed to all vehicular traffic during construction activities. Motorists should follow all posted detour routes and allow additional travel time.

WATER SERVICE

  • Water service to 29 Willard Grant Road will be temporarily suspended while repair work is underway.
  • Please note: Despite careful planning and preparation, underground utility work can present unforeseen conditions. While every effort will be made to complete the repairs without affecting surrounding customers, temporary service interruptions to nearby properties may become necessary.
  • If additional service interruptions become necessary, the Sudbury Water District will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice to affected customers whenever possible.

EMERGENCY NOTIFICATION SYSTEM
To receive timely project updates, service interruption notices, and other emergency communications, customers are encouraged to register for the Town-wide Emergency Notification System by visiting  https://sudbury.ma.us/ or  https://www.sudburywater.com/

Customers enrolled in the notification system are among the first to receive important information regarding utility projects, emergency conditions, and public safety matters.

PREPARING FOR A POSSIBLE TEMPORARY WATER SERVICE INTERRUPTION
Although additional service interruptions are not anticipated, customers may wish to take the following precautions:

  • Store an adequate supply of drinking water (approximately one gallon per person per day).
  • Fill containers with water for cooking and food preparation.
  • Store water for cleaning and sanitation needs.
  • Fill bathtubs or other large containers with water for toilet flushing. If necessary, approximately one gallon of water poured directly into the toilet bowl will initiate a flush.
