Be advised: An emergency water main repair is underway on Moore Road. Water service on Moore Road from (approx.) Street No. 133 through to 191 will be temporarily interrupted allowing for repair. As of 1 pm water service on Surrey Lane, Pondview Road and Patridge Lane has been restored.
Service on Moore Road is anticipated to be restored within six-hours (approximately 12 pm – 6 pm). Residence located on Moore Road from Street No. 133 through to 191 should make arrangements to be without water during this period.
Upon restoring service those in close proximity to this quadrant of town may experience fluctuating pressure (air in pipes) or discolored water (mineral sediment lifting from the bottom of the pipes and traveling with the water-flow inside the main.) Running a cold tap briefly (after 6 p.m. tonight, Monday, July 14) will assist in clearing your service line of air and minerals. Conditions are expected to improve overnight.
