A broken water main on Concord Road at the intersection of Old Lancaster Road has been repaired. At approximately 4 pm we began refilling the main and anticipate service to Antique Circle, Pennymeadow Road and Concord Road (between the intersection of Old Lancaster Road and Antique Circle) to be restored shortly.
Those in close proximity to this quadrant of town may experience fluctuating pressure (air in pipes) or discolored water (mineral sediment lifting from the bottom of the pipes and traveling with the water-flow inside the main.) Running a cold tap briefly will assist in clearing your service line of air and minerals. Conditions are expected to improve overnight.
Commuters are advised to seek alternate route.
